Kate Greisdorf
Board Member & Former Intern
Kate Greisdorf (she/her) works at the Osher Center for Integrative Health as their Program Support Generalist. She graduated with her BS from UVM in 2024, and is back in school for her master's degree at UVM, in a program called Leadership for Sustainability. She feels a strong passion for the systems change work surrounding health, environment, and the economy. Kate also coaches two Olympic Weightlifting teams- her own team, Metamorphosis Barbell Club, as well as the University of Vermont Olympic Weightlifting Club. Kate brings her embodied meditation practice, commitment to community building, and creating intentional spaciousness to VCF.
VCF's mission resonates with Kate as she believe we have a systemic work-life balance problem. There is less and less of a division between work life, community life, and personal life and VCF is working on creating more space between all our facets of life. From book clubs to creating a group for UVM employees who identify as early professional, Kate strives to a be steward of community in all facets of her life which aligns will with VCF's community oriented lens. Kate believes the answer to our current polycrisis is connection and vulnerability. Kate hopes to contribute her systems thinking approach to program development and help position VCF in the greater context of non-profits in Vermont.
Kate interned with VCF in 2023 and looks forward to serving on the board!
